Vision Cohort 2026
The Vision Cohort is a gathering for faculty members and emerging researchers who are conducting cutting-edge research and developing innovative technologies in computer vision. If you are an academic or emerging researcher based in Turkey, we invite you to join us.
Let's bring Cohorts back! In this transformative era of AI, we are more excited than ever to reunite esteemed faculty members and brilliant students to strengthen our academic community and collaborative research efforts.
We invite acclaimed Computer Vision researchers from Istanbul and Ankara to come together and share their recent work for a collaborative brainstorming session. The goal is to provide researchers with a productive, distraction -free environment in which they can engage with fellow academics and young researchers, deliberating over topics of common interest. Through this event, we aim to strengthen a more connected Computer Vision community in Turkey.

Event Schedule
Friday, April 3
The cohort begins with a welcome dinner at Beykoz Kundura, where faculty members and their graduate students can connect in an inspiring setting.
Saturday, April 4
After spending a cozy night at the inzva space, labs will present their research projects, and after lunch, graduate students will present their projects in an interactive poster session.
In the afternoon, we will host a dynamic speed-dating-style networking session where participants rotate through brief meetings with different researchers, helping to identify common interests and form discussion groups for Sunday's in-depth sessions.
Sunday, April 5
Based on Saturday's connections, we will divide into specialized sub-groups organized around shared research interests. These groups will spend 3-4 hours engaged in focused discussions about the latest topics, emerging problems, and potential solutions in their areas. The day concludes with a plenary session where each group presents its insights and key takeaways to the full cohort.
