Algorithm Competition Winter Camp 2024
Applications for the Algorithm Competition Winter Camp 2024 are now open!
During the week of January 22nd to January 28th, this intensive seven-day training camp will provide a comprehensive educational experience. It includes challenging contests and engaging activities set in the historic ambiance of Beykoz Kundura. Welcoming algorithm enthusiasts of various skill levels, this event aims to enhance each participant's understanding of algorithms, one of the most essential areas of computer science.
Note: BEV Foundation reserves the right to change or modify any of the conduct, design, and rules of the camp at any time and at BEV Foundation’s sole discretion.
The camp is SUITABLE FOR those:
Who are undergraduate students studying in the preparatory, first, second and third years.
Who are eager to learn about and wish to practice algorithms, including, but not limited to, binary search, graphs, dynamic programming, and more.
Who have knowledge of at least one programming language.

To teach a sound knowledge of algorithms to algorithm enthusiasts,
To provide training that will help university students in competitive programming contests, as well as in their professional lives,
To involve algorithm enthusiasts with the algorithm community of inzva,

To host students studying outside of İstanbul.

APPLICATION PERIOD
November 29, 2023 - January 6, 2024, until 17:00.
The results will be announced on January 12, 2024. We will accept a limited number of participants.

QUALIFICATION ROUND
The Qualification Round will be held between January 6, 12:00 and January 9, 00:00 (60 hrs) on algoleague. We will send you all the necessary information by email before the contest.
Please note that any plagiarism will result in disqualification and a possible ban from future events.
Depending on the Qualification Round results, we will have groups at different levels.
Qualification results are not the only thing to be considered in the selection process of the expert group participants. We will also consider the answers to the questions at the registration form and then invite you to the camp. All rights are reserved to inzva.

OUR SPACE
TECHNICAL PROFICIENCY
All participants are expected to have a good knowledge of at least one programming language, such as C, C ++, Python, Pypy, or Java. The entire practice process will run on algoleague. So if you do not have an account, please sign up here.
SELECTION CRITERIA
The winter camp is only open to undergraduate students studying in the preparatory, first, second and third years.
Your qualification test results will be important for the selection process.
We give priority to accepting non-Istanbul resident students to the camp, as they will not be able to attend other programs in inzva for the rest of the year.
We will take into account the results of the qualification test, previous camp experience(s), progress, and the answers stated in the application form.
Community members can also participate in the camp through invitations.

A BEV Foundation project inzva is a non-profit hacker community organizing study and project groups as well as camps in the fields of AI and Algorithm; and gathering CS students, academics, and professionals in Turkey.
