Frequently Asked Questions

Q: When and where is inzva Algorithm Program 2025-2026 Fall?
A: The program will last 8 weeks, starting on 19 October and ending on 6 December. All sessions will be held in person at Beykoz Kundura, Istanbul. Transportation will be provided to Beykoz Kundura.

Q: Who can apply for the program?
A: It is open to undergraduate students, higher education students, and high school students studying in Istanbul.

Q: Can every applicant join the program?
A: No. A limited number of participants will be accepted. Priority will be given to students in computer science or related departments, especially those in preparatory, first or second year of university, as well as motivated high school students.

Q: How much will the program cost for the participants?
A: The program is completely free of charge. Meals will be provided by BEV Foundation.

Q: Who will be giving the lectures?
A: Lectures will be given by experienced members of our community. All materials will be reviewed by other members to ensure quality. If you would like to contribute as a lecturer, please send an email to algorithm@inzva.com with the subject “Being a lecturer for inzva events”.

Q: There are topics in the program that I already know. Do I have to attend those weeks?
A: Yes. Attendance is mandatory for all weeks. Participants who are absent without a valid reason will not be able to continue.

Q: Can I join even if I am not a university student?
A: Yes. High school students, undergraduate students, and higher education students can apply.

Q: I am under 18. Can I attend?
A: Yes, high school students and undergraduate students under 18 are welcome to apply.

Q: I do not know any programming language, but I want to learn. Can I join?
A: Unfortunately, no. You must know at least one programming language to participate.

Q: Can I join the weekly contests online?
A: No. All contests will be held in person at Beykoz Kundura as part of the program.

Q: Can I just join the contests and not the lectures?
A: No. We expect all participants to attend both contests and lectures.

Q: Who will be qualified for the certificates?
A: All participants who attend at least 4 lectures and 2 contests will receive a certificate of completion.

Q: Are we going to participate in the contests in teams?
A: No. You will compete individually unless otherwise specified.

Q: Will there be a submission limit in the Qualification Round?
A: There is no submission limit. However, the number of submissions may be taken into account during selection if necessary.

Q: Will you check the submitted codes in the Qualification Round?
A: Yes. All submitted codes will be checked and compared to ensure fairness.

Q: Can I join the program without an algoleague account?
A: No. You must have an algoleague account to solve the problems.
