inzva is looking for a Program & Operations Lead to lead and coordinate operational processes across the organization.

This is a full-time position for candidates interested in pursuing a career in a non-profit organization. It is a social and community-focused role, ideal for someone with strong soft skills and a genuine interest in AI - Algorithms and technology.

Who are we?

inzva is a tech community dedicated to artificial intelligence and algorithms based in Istanbul, supported by BEV Foundation as a non-profit project.

inzva was established in 2017 in Beykoz Kundura, to create a community of talented computer science enthusiasts. Over the last 8 years, inzva has provided over 10000 students with the opportunity to improve themselves through study groups, projects, and camps that focus on studies of algorithms and artificial intelligence studies, completely free of charge. 

Our goal is to develop the CS & AI community in Turkey with a cohort of learners and thinkers who share their knowledge respectfully and collaborate productively with other enthusiasts from diverse backgrounds.

Who are you?

  • Residing in İstanbul or willing to relocate,

  • Open to a hybrid working model,

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience in operations, program management, or similar roles,

  • Comfortable working closely with the founder, 

  • Strong ownership mindset - able to manage multiple domains simultaneously and take end-to-end responsibility,

  • A people-oriented communicator with strong verbal and written English skills,

  • Passionate about working in an NGO/ impact-driven environment,

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and strong in follow-up and documentation,

  • Interested in education, community building, and the technology ecosystem,

  • A collaborative team player with a strong sense of responsibility and ethics,

  • Flexible to work evenings and weekends when needed (events, camps, etc.),

  • Open to working on Saturdays (while maintaining a 5-day work week),

  • Willing to travel for domestic and international events

  • Availability to stay on-site (e.g., Beykoz Kundura) during camps,

  • No travel restrictions,

  • Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms),

  • Valid driver’s license and active driving experience.

Main Responsibilities

This role manages the operational backbone of inzva and its programs:

  • Communication with the Founder: Maintain regular communication and alignment; prepare structured updates, reports, and operational summaries; ensure visibility into ongoing projects, risks, and priorities; support strategic decision-making through organized reporting and follow-up.

  • Programs & Governance: Participate in Algorithm, AI, and SEERC Steering Committee processes; ensure programs are executed smoothly and aligned with strategy; track progress and follow up on key initiatives.

  • Operations & Financial Management: Manage budgeting processes and track expenses; handle purchasing, payments, and financial follow-ups; ensure operational sustainability and efficiency.

  • Knowledge & Systems: Build and maintain organizational memory; document processes and create scalable systems; improve workflows and internal tools.

  • People & HR Processes: Manage recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes; support team structure and role definitions; facilitate internal communication and alignment.

  • Team Engagement: Increase team engagement and motivation; ensure strong collaboration across teams; track tasks and ensure execution.

  • Community & Alumni: Maintain and grow alumni relations; support scholarship processes; strengthen long-term community engagement; follow our Code of Conduct.

  • Sponsorship & Partnerships: Lead sponsorship processes end-to-end; maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders; support proposal and agreement processes.
