TURKISH PROGRAMMING CONTEST 2026

Turkey’s strongest university teams come together once again at the Turkish Programming Contest 2026! 

TPC 2026 brings together the country’s most ambitious university teams through a two-round journey of competition, collaboration, and community. Teams will first compete in the Qualification Round, with the top 20 teams advancing to the Final Round at Beykoz Kundura, Istanbul.

Organized by the inzva community, TPC is the meeting point for Turkey’s competitive programming community and the official gateway to the South Eastern European Regional Contest (SEERC). The teams that rise to the top will continue their journey on the international stage, with the ultimate goal of reaching the ICPC World Finals.

The Turkish Programming Contest (TPC) is Turkey's national ICPC-style programming contest for undergraduate students. Organized by the inzva community and hosted on algoleague, TPC brings together university teams from across the country to compete in teams of three.

TPC 2026 will be held in two rounds. The Qualification Round will take place simultaneously in Ankara and Istanbul on September 26, 2026. The top 20 teams will advance to the three-day Final Round, held on October 9-11, 2026, at Beykoz Kundura, Istanbul. Alongside the Final Round, participants will take part in technical talks, career sessions, networking activities, and a practice contest.

Participation is open to undergraduate students studying in Turkey. Each team must consist of three students from the same university. All eligible teams are welcome to participate in the Qualification Round.

What is algoleague?

algoleague is a competitive programming platform where algorithm enthusiasts of all levels can practice problem-solving skills and compete in contests, either individually or in teams. The platform is powered by the inzva community and supported by the BEV Foundation.

All participants are required to have an algoleague account with all mandatory profile fields completed, including the Education section. This information will be used to verify eligibility before the Qualification Round.

The Road to ICPC World Finals

The Turkish Programming Contest is more than a national programming contest. It is the first step on the road to the ICPC World Finals.

At TPC 2025, 69 university teams competed in simultaneous Qualification Rounds held in Istanbul and Ankara. The top 15 teams advanced to the Final Round at Beykoz Kundura. From there, four teams qualified for SEERC 2025, two teams advanced to the ICPC Europe Championship (EUC) 2026, and one Turkish team ultimately earned a place at the ICPC World Finals 2026.

Building on last year's success, the top three teams of the TPC 2026 Final Round will qualify for SEERC 2026, which will take place on December 11-13, 2026, at the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, Greece. From there, they will continue their journey toward the ICPC Europe Championship and, ultimately, the ICPC World Finals.

OBJECTIVES

  • To promote algorithmic, analytical, and productive thinking among students in Turkey.

  • To develop essential skills such as teamwork, time management, and solving complex problems under pressure.
    To strengthen the national programming community and improve its technical capacity.

  • To provide a competitive yet collaborative environment that nurtures talent for both national and international contests.

  • To prepare top-performing teams for SEERC and ultimately the ICPC World Finals.

REGISTRATION

To complete your application for TPC 2026, both of the following steps are required. Completing only one of them will not be considered a valid application.

  • Each team member must individually complete the TPC 2026 Application Form available on this website.

  • Each participant must first create an algoleuage account and complete all mandatory profile information, including the Education section.

  • Teams must consist of three students from the same university.

  • The team leader is responsible for creating the team on algoleague and inviting the other two members. The team leader can be anyone within the team.

  • Once the team is created, the team leader must register the team for the TPC 2026 Qualification Round. Other members do not need to register separately for the contest.

  • After clicking the Register button on the contest page, the request will be reviewed by the organizers. Once confirmed, the team’s registration status will change from Pending to Accepted.

  • Applications will be open from August 1 to September 6, 2026. All registration steps must be completed before the application deadline.

  • Student IDs of all team members will be checked before the Qualification Round in Ankara or Istanbul.

Note: Registration requests will be reviewed by the organizers to verify eligibility. All eligible teams whose registrations are approved will be invited to participate in the Qualification Round.

SCHEDULE & CURRICULUM

All teams must complete both the TPC Application Form and their registration on algoleague before the application deadline. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

September 26 - TPC 2026 Qualification Round

The official ICPC-style team programming contest takes place simultaneously in Ankara and Istanbul.

  • Participants arrive at Beykoz Kundura, Istanbul, complete check-in, receive their welcome kits, and join the opening gathering. 

  • Accommodation will be available for all accepted participants.

October 10 - Preparation Day

A full day dedicated to learning, networking, and preparation.

October 11 - TPC 2026 Final Round

The official ICPC-style programming contest takes place.

ELIGIBILITY

All teams and participants are required to comply with the official ICPC Regional Rules regarding eligibility. Please refer to the official ICPC Regional Rules for detailed information.

  • Teams must consist of three undergraduate students from the same university in Turkey.

  • Participants must satisfy the ICPC Regional eligibility requirements, including:

    • Up to 5 Regional Contest participations.

    • Up to 2 ICPC World Finals participations.

    • Undergraduate students with a maximum of 8 semesters of study (extensions may be granted under the official ICPC rules).

  • Each participant must provide a valid student ID or an official proof of enrollment before the contest.

CONTEST RULES 

  • Plagiarism or the use of AI tools for any purpose during the contest is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification, as well as possible suspension from future TPC events.

  • All electronic devices, including mobile phones, must be handed in before the contest begins.

  • Contest materials such as paper and pens will be provided by the organizers.

  • Teams may only access the official contest environment during the competition.

  • The contest duration is 5 hours. Contestants are not allowed to view or discuss the problem set before the official start.

  • Teams must use only one computer during the contest, in accordance with the ICPC Regional Rules.

  • Contestants must wear their official TPC t-shirts during the contest.

  • Any inappropriate or disruptive behavior will result in immediate disqualification.

PRIZES

  • The top three teams in the TPC 2026 Final Round will qualify for the South Eastern Europe Regional Contest (SEERC 2026), which will take place on December 11-13, 2026, at the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki, Greece.

  • For all qualifying teams, transportation and accommodation expenses for SEERC 2026 will be fully covered by the BEV Foundation.

VENUE

TPC 2026 Qualification Round will take place simultaneously in Istanbul and Ankara on September 26, 2026.

  • In Istanbul, the Qualification Round will be held at Beykoz Kundura.

  • Ankara venue will be announced soon.

  • The Qualification Round will be held as a physical contest at both venues.

TPC 2026 Final Round will be held on October 9-11, 2026, at Beykoz Kundura, Istanbul.

Located inside a historic factory complex, Beykoz Kundura offers a quiet, inspiring, and unique environment where finalists can focus, connect, and experience the contest atmosphere to its fullest.

 

PARTICIPANT SELECTION

All eligible teams are welcome to participate in the TPC 2026 Qualification Round.

  • During registration, each team must select either Ankara or Istanbul as their Qualification Round venue. Venue selections cannot be changed after registration is completed.

  • Following the Qualification Round, the top 20 teams, ranked according to the official ICPC scoring rules, will be invited to compete in the TPC 2026 Final Round at Beykoz Kundura, Istanbul.

  • Each university may have multiple teams among the finalists.
